Representatives of the national cybersecurity incident response teams from Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia participated in a training and experience exchange with Poland’s CERT. The event, organized by DCAF with the support of GIZ, aimed to strengthen technical capacities and promote regional cooperation to address cybersecurity challenges.
During the opening session, the Director of the National Cyber Security Authority, Mr. Igli Tafa, emphasized the importance of cooperation with international partners to enhance technical capabilities and improve responses to cybersecurity incidents. He thanked DCAF, GIZ, and Poland’s CERT for their support and the opportunity to exchange best practices, highlighting that such initiatives contribute to strengthening cybersecurity at both national and regional levels.
As a supporter of the program, the Ambassador of Germany to Albania, H.E. Karl Bergner, was also present. He appreciated Albania’s progress in this field and underscored the significance of regional cooperation in addressing cyber threats.
The exchange of experiences among security teams remains crucial for improving defense mechanisms and building a sustainable approach to cybersecurity challenges in the region.
