OSCE Annual Conference on Security of Information and Communication Technologies

The National Cyber ​​Security Authority participated in the OSCE Annual Conference on Security of Information and Communication Technologies – “Strengthening National Cyber ​​Resilience,” which was held on 15-16 July 2024 in Mellieħa, Malta.

This conference served as an important platform to share our knowledge and experiences and contribute to collective efforts to strengthen cyber resilience at the national and international level.

First WB3C Conference in Podgorica

On June 11-12, 2024, the regional conference “Western Balkans Cyber ​​Capacity Center Regional Conference” was held in Podgorica, where NCSA also participated.

This regional-level event brought together cyber security experts, policy makers and officials from across the Western Balkans and international partners to discuss ways to increase cyber resilience in the region. The conference covered and addressed the topics of countering cybercrime, cyber security, the impact of artificial intelligence on security and cyber diplomacy; different views were exchanged, best practices were discussed regarding the critical situations facing developing countries.

CBM 8 National Focal Points Annual Meeting

NCSA during the dates 10-12 June 2024 participated in the Annual Meeting of the National Contact Points of CBM 8 and the Meeting of the Informal Cyber ​​Security Working Group in the OSCE in Vienna.

Albania demonstrated its commitment to promote and implement CBMs by committing to strengthening cyber security and resilience at the national, regional and international levels.

Industrial Control System (ICS) Cybersecurity Lab (301L)

The National Cyber Security Authority, in cooperation with CISA and the American Embassy, ​​in the framework of increasing the capacities of critical infrastructure experts, participated in the “Industrial Control System (ICS) Cybersecurity Lab (301L)” training on July 15-18, 2024, in Washington, DC.

Through this training, it was aimed to familiarize with Industrial Control System (ICS) technologies, the integration of IT/OT with each other and the development of Cyber ​​Escape Rooms by making practical simulations.

NATO Cyber ​​Security Conference

NCSA participanted in the NATO Cyber ​​Security Conference, which took place on June 25-27, at the NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rome, Italy.

The purpose of the conference was to provide an open forum for discussion within the cybersecurity ecosystem and to identify opportunities for accelerating efforts on NATO’s cyber defense strategies. The topics covered focused on incident management and cyber risk from strategic, operational and tactical perspectives.

Cyber Week 2024

On June 24 to 27, 2024, the National Cyber ​​Security Authority participated in the Cyber ​​Week 2024 international conference in Tel Aviv, where they held valuable and productive meetings with representatives from different countries around the world.

This forum provided an exceptional opportunity to discuss the challenges of global cyber terrorism and strengthen international partnerships.
