Albania was welcomed as a new Participating State in the CoE, joining the organization in June 2024. Noting its priorities against hybrid threats, Albania stressed the importance of cybersecurity & stability in the Western Balkans. Albania expressed its readiness to contribute to the work of the CoE & to cooperate with the Participating States.
NCSA participated in the third annual training on cyber diplomacy, organized by the OSCE on 4 and 6 November in Vienna. This event brought together experts from different regions to strengthen national capacities in international cybersecurity policies, promoting cooperation and confidence-building measures in cyberspace.
On 7-8 November, NCSA participated in the “9th Regional Security Coordination Conference in the Western Balkans”, held in Sarajevo. During the conference, the importance of confronting cyber threats and strengthening regional cooperation was discussed. The event focused on sharing experiences and the support that regional and international organizations provide to member countries.
