AKSK welcomes the delegation from Kosovo’s cybersecurity institutions

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and build sustainable inter-institutional relations in the field of cybersecurity, the National Cybersecurity Authority (AKSK) welcomed today a delegation from the counterpart institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

The delegation, led by Mr. Lulëzon Jagxhiu, IT Advisor at the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, included representatives from institutions responsible for cyber defense and digital transformation. The visit focused on presenting AKSK’s scope of work, legal and regulatory framework, organizational structure, and operational capacities, including monitoring and incident response processes, inter-institutional coordination mechanisms, and collaboration with national stakeholders.

In his remarks, AKSK’s Director General, Mr. Igli Tafa, emphasized that building a partnership with Kosovo’s counterpart institutions is part of the government’s broader vision to enhance regional cyber resilience. He stated that the exchange of concrete practices and experiences is essential to addressing the evolving challenges of the digital space.

The visit reaffirmed the mutual commitment to build bridges of cooperation between Albania and Kosovo in the field of cybersecurity, in pursuit of a shared objective: protecting our digital space and strengthening cyber resilience at both national and regional levels.
