Representatives of senior NATO structures, cyber commands of allied countries and international industry, as well as representatives from security and diplomatic institutions of member countries participated in these sessions, sharing experiences and visions on cooperation in strengthening digital defense.
Also present at this conference was the Deputy Prime Minister of Albania, Ms. Belinda Balluku, who emphasized the country’s commitment to being an active part of the global effort for cybersecurity, underlining that “in a world where danger comes from every corner of digital space, we cannot be spectators, we must be prepared, united and strong.”
The Minister of Defense, Mr. Pirro Vengu, emphasized the importance of increasing capacities, coordination and cooperation between allies, appreciating the active role of Albania through the creation of the Cyber Command and strengthening ties with NATO structures.
An important part of the program was the panel “Behind the Response – AKSK First-Hand Experience”, where the National Authority for Cyber Security presented its experience in incident management, inter-institutional cooperation and building national capacities for response and protection.
Other topics of the conference included strengthening NATO cyber defense, addressing strategic risks and the role of industry, as well as implementing the Alliance’s guidelines for strategic measures against malicious activities in the digital space.
These discussions confirmed once again the value of cooperation between NATO allies and partners in building a stronger collective defense and a safer digital space for all.
