National Cyber Security Marathon 2025: AKSK launches the challenge for new talents

For the first time, the National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK) is organizing the National Cyber Security Marathon 2025, a nationwide initiative for discovering, developing, and promoting young talents in cybersecurity, among universities and technology-oriented vocational schools.
Through the international SimSpace platform, students will have the opportunity to train in real-world scenarios, gain hands-on experience, and test their skills in the field of cybersecurity.
What does the marathon include?
  • Intensive training by AKSK experts using the international SimSpace platform
  • 4 thematic phases:

  Phase I: August 1 – September 30 – Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst (approx. 50 hours)

  Phase II: October 1 – 31 – Threat Intelligence (approx. 30 hours)

  Phase III: November 1 – 30 – Defensive Security (approx. 30 hours)

  Phase IV: December 1 – 20 – Offensive Security (approx. 20 hours)

  • Final event to announce the winners (December)
  • Promotion for participating institutions and the best-performing students
  • Opportunities for internships and employment in the public and private sectors
How to participate?
Each university or vocational school can register up to 10 students to form a representative team.
