Information Technology students from the European University of Tirana (UET) conducted a study visit to the premises of the National Cyber Security Authority, where they had the opportunity to closely learn about the institution’s role and functions in protecting the country’s digital space.
During the visit, the staff of the Authority presented the main structures of the institution, its institutional responsibilities in the field of cybersecurity, as well as the work carried out to protect critical and important information infrastructures. The students also had the opportunity to visit the Cyber Security Laboratory, where the technical capacities and practical environments used for analysis, testing, and skills development in this field were presented.
Such visits are part of the Authority’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation with universities and bringing students closer to practical experience in the field of cybersecurity. They contribute to the development and support of young talents, while also strengthening national capacities and the cybersecurity ecosystem in the country.
