Albania-Spain, exploring new opportunities for cybersecurity cooperation

The General Director of the National Cybersecurity Authority (AKSK), Mr. Igli Tafa, held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Albania, H.E. Gabriel Cremades Ventura.

Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in cybersecurity. Both parties highlighted the importance of sharing expertise and establishing institutional contacts between the two countries, expressing mutual interest in launching a joint initiative supported by European Union programs.

Following the meeting, it was agreed to organize technical-level meetings between AKSK experts and their Spanish counterparts to identify concrete areas of collaboration and define future steps toward implementing this initiative.

AKSK remains committed to strengthening international relations to enhance national cybersecurity capacities and ensure a more resilient digital environment against current threats.
