AKSK welcomes the Israeli delegation within the framework of a technical workshop on cybersecurity

In line with its commitments to enhance cyber resilience and build international strategic partnerships, the National Cyber Security Authority today welcomed a delegation from Israel, as part of a workshop dedicated to strengthening technical cooperation and exchanging best practices in the field of digital security.

In his speech, the Director General of AKSK, Mr. Igli Tafa, emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation with Israeli partners, as a key component in building a sustainable and integrated cybersecurity system in Albania. He appreciated the support and expertise that Israel has provided in the process of drafting strategies and building operational capacities, describing this partnership as a successful model of cooperation for the benefit of national security.

The Ambassador of Israel to Albania, Ms. Galit Peleg, underlined the importance of building trust and mutual cooperation in facing digital challenges, expressing the continued commitment of the State of Israel to support Albania in this regard.

The workshop was held with the participation of representatives from key institutions of the country such as the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Defense, the Parliament of Albania, the State Police, the High Judicial Council, the National Agency for Statistics, INSTAT and the Financial Supervisory Authority. Participants shared experiences, discussed current challenges and analyzed applicable practices in strengthening response mechanisms to cyber incidents.

This meeting confirmed the vision and commitment for a long-term bilateral cooperation, in function of a more secure, sustainable and trustworthy digital space for Albanian citizens and institutions.
