The National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK) holds an awareness meeting with students of “Klodian Tanushi” school

In a world where children increasingly interact in the digital environment, their online safety remains a shared priority.

In this context, the National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK) organized an awareness-raising meeting at “Klodian Tanushi” school in Tirana with its students, creating an open space for discussion on the challenges and risks encountered online. The activity was also attended by child protection workers, representatives from ASHDMF, and the school psychologist, bringing a comprehensive approach that connects digital safety with emotional well-being and institutional support.

During the session, concrete situations that children may encounter online were presented, focusing on risks such as cyberbullying, unknown contacts, the sharing of personal information, and inappropriate content. Students were introduced to ways of identifying these risks, responding in a timely manner, and knowing where to seek help, emphasizing the importance of communication with parents, teachers, and reporting to the relevant structures.

This meeting comes as part of a series of activities aimed at raising awareness among children and young people, with the goal of building a sustainable culture of safety in the digital environment.
