Inclusion of Girls in ICT at the Center of Dialogue with Civil Society

The National Cyber Security Authority organized the Second Consultative Meeting with civil society organizations (NGOs), focusing on “Promoting the inclusion of girls and women in ICT,” bringing together representatives from public institutions, the private sector, academia, and international partners.

The meeting focused on analyzing the current landscape of girls’ and women’s participation in ICT and cybersecurity, identifying existing challenges and gaps, and exploring concrete measures to enhance their access, engagement, and development in this field. Discussions also addressed the role of organizations and the private sector in creating opportunities for training, mentoring, and employment, as well as the need for joint initiatives that support girls’ careers in technology.

One of the key highlights was the presentation of the international event “Global Girls in ICT Day 2026,” which will take place on April 23, emphasizing the importance of collective engagement to increase the participation of girls in digital and cybersecurity fields.

This activity is part of NCSA’s ongoing commitments under the National Cyber Security Strategy 2025–2030, aiming to contribute to building a safer, more inclusive digital ecosystem oriented towards gender equality.
