The National Authority on Electronic Certification and Cybersecurity (AKCESK) is organizing the Western Balkans Cyber Camp for the third year. The event will take place from May 10th to 12th, 2024, at the Movenpick Hotel in Lalëzi Bay, Durrës. This gathering aims to bring together young people, representatives from academia, and national CSIRTs (Computer Security Incident Response Teams) from six economies in the Western Balkans region.

The focus of this event is to enhance the knowledge of young individuals interested in cybersecurity and/or ICT fields. The program will cover topics such as cyber hygiene, governance, and cybersecurity threats. Additionally, participants will engage in real simulations using the Cyber Drill platform. Our goal is to establish a regional network of young cyber experts who can collaborate and support each other, ultimately contributing to stronger cybersecurity resilience of our region in the future.

Who can apply?

Students aged 18 to 22, studying in the fields of Cybersecurity, IT, or ICT, and with an interest in cybersecurity, are encouraged to apply. After evaluating the submitted applications, eight applicants from each Western Balkans economy will be selected. Accommodation and transport expenses will be covered by the organizers.
