The National Cyber Security Authority had the pleasure of hosting the Dutch Ambassador-at-Large for Cyber Affairs, H.E. Ernst Noorman, on an official visit. Ambassador Noorman was welcomed by the Director General of NCSA, Mr. Igli Tafa, and the leadership team of the authority, where fruitful discussions were held to enhance cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
During the meeting, the importance of a strong partnership between Albania and the Netherlands was emphasized, focusing on concrete projects to increase capabilities and address new challenges in the digital space. The role of Albania in developing a sustainable cybersecurity ecosystem in the Western Balkans was also highlighted, as well as the need for close international cooperation to address cyber threats.
Ambassador Noorman expressed the full support of the Netherlands for Albania’s efforts in the field of cybersecurity and commended the progress made so far. The NCSA remains committed to continuing and expanding this important cooperation, aiming to create a secure and sustainable international digital environment.
