Strengthening cooperation in cybersecurity and protecting critical infrastructure were at the center of an official meeting held in Washington, D.C., between the National Cyber Security Authority of Albania (AKSK) and the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
During the meeting, the AKSK delegation, led by Director General Mr. Bledar Kazia, held discussions with CISA representatives on enhancing operational cooperation, sharing information on cyber threats, and improving coordination in incident management and response. Particular attention was also given to capacity building through specialized training, joint exercises, and the exchange of expertise.
AKSK values its partnership with CISA and the continued support of the United States, reaffirming its commitment to deepening cooperation and developing joint initiatives aimed at strengthening Albania’s cybersecurity and cyber resilience.
