On Friday, May 24, NAECCS in cooperation with Unicef organized the consultation on the chapter of the National Strategy for Cyber Security, which addresses children’s online security issues.
It was attended by all interest groups, with representatives from public institutions and civil society. The draft was evaluated as a necessary step for the establishment of a coordinating mechanism between actors in the field, for handling and solving problems related to the safety of children online.
At the end of the meeting, the activities that will be undertaken by all actors in the field were presented, to achieve the objectives of the strategy and the smooth functioning of the interaction between them. The National Strategy for Cyber Security is expected to be approved within the first 6 months of 2019.
