The role of the National Cyber Security Authority in the United Nations Meeting on Points of Contact

At the meeting organized by the United Nations for the presentation of the Global Directory of Contact Points, the National Authority for Cyber Security was represented by Deputy. General Director Mrs. Floretta Faber. This meeting is an important step for strengthening cooperation between countries in the field of cyber security.

Building the global system for points of contact has been a long process started over a decade ago and has involved all countries in a discussion on how to organize response systems in the event of a cyber-attack. Organized as an interactive online platform, it is expected that this will serve the connection between countries and capacity building. Such a global organization aims to serve to increase regional cooperation and be used in the process of mitigating conflicts and peace in the world.

Albania is one of the 91 countries that are part of this Directorate.
