Strengthening cooperation with U.S. partners in the field of cybersecurity was at the forefront of meetings held at MITRE in Washington, D.C., by Mr. Bledar Kazia, Director General of the National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK).

During the official visit, AKSK representatives were welcomed by senior officials and experts from MITRE, one of the leading U.S. organizations in research, innovation, and cybersecurity. The meetings provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and explore concrete areas of cooperation between the two institutions.

Particular emphasis was placed on critical infrastructure protection, cyber threat analysis, and the exchange of expertise and international best practices. Discussions also highlighted the importance of developing professional capabilities to address evolving security challenges in an increasingly complex digital environment.

Both sides expressed a shared interest in further strengthening their partnership through specialized training, capacity-building programs, and joint initiatives aimed at enhancing cyber resilience.
