The National Cyber Security Authority has launched the qualifying phases for the selection of the team that will represent Albania at the European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC), the largest European competition for young cybersecurity talents, organized by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).
During the introductory meeting, around 150 applicants were introduced to the competition format, the qualifying phases, and the steps that will lead to the formation of the national team.
In his remarks, the Acting Director General of the National Cyber Security Authority, Saimir Kapllani, emphasized the Authority’s commitment to developing and supporting young talents in cybersecurity, encouraging participants to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their skills and represent Albania in a European competition such as ECSC.
During the qualifying phases, participants will face practical challenges and exercises through which the talents who will represent Albania at ECSC will be identified. This year, the competition will take place in Germany in October.
