Statement on the Service Outage Affecting the International Platform “Cloudflare”

According to the official report from the international platform “Cloudflare,” on 18 November 2025, a global-impact incident occurred which caused significant service outages for the company, including its global Edge network, APIs, and several other critical components of the platform. The issue began at approximately 12:48 and was caused by an internal problem that directly affected service availability.

The impact was also observed in our country, where several institutions and sectors experienced difficulties accessing digital services and websites. At approximately 15:42, Cloudflare reported that the issue was temporary and that the company was working to restore all services to normal operation.

In light of the above, the National Authority for Cybersecurity (AKSK) recommends increased vigilance for users who rely on this platform, as well as continuous monitoring of their service availability.

It is also recommended to identify any affected services for potential issues following the outage. Furthermore, ensuring mechanisms that allow at least basic functionality, even in cases when Cloudflare services are not active, would help reduce the operational risk from such disruptions.

AKSK remains committed to ensuring the security of the country’s information infrastructures and to informing the public in real time about any potential risks.
