Albania climbs 23 places in the Global Cyber Security Index 2024, according to ITU
In the latest report published by the ITU, Albania has made remarkable progress, moving up 23 places in the global cyber security ranking, compared to the previous report. Currently, our country based on performance scores is ranked 57th globally, up from 80th previously, and has improved its position in Europe by moving up from 40th to the 30th.
The score has increased from 64.32 to 86.51 (+22.19 points), making Albania part of the “Tier 2” group, which includes countries that are advancing quickly in the field of digital security, showing its commitment to face global security challenges cyber.
This progress is a testament to Albania’s continued commitment to face digital challenges and improve cyber defense at the national and international level.
