SUMMARY:WESTERN BALKANS CYBER CAMP
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nCLOSED APPLICATIONS\nThe National Authority on Electronic
  Certification and Cybersecurity (AKCESK) is organizing the Western Balka
 ns Cyber Camp for the third year. The event will take place from May 1
 0th to 12th\, 2024\, at the Movenpick Hotel in Lalëzi Bay\, Durrës. Thi
 s gathering aims to bring together young people\, representatives from aca
 demia\, and national CSIRTs (Computer Security Incident Response Teams) fr
 om six economies in the Western Balkans region.\n\nThe focus of this event
  is to enhance the knowledge of young individuals interested in cybersecu
 rity and/or ICT fields. The program will cover topics such as cyber hygi
 ene\, governance\, and cybersecurity threats. Additionally\, participants
  will engage in real simulations using the Cyber Drill platform. Our goa
 l is to establish a regional network of young cyber experts who can coll
 aborate and support each other\, ultimately contributing to stronger cybe
 rsecurity resilience of our region in the future.\n\nWho can apply?\n\nStu
 dents aged 18 to 22\, studying in the fields of Cybersecurity\, IT\, or I
 CT\, and with an interest in cybersecurity\, are encouraged to apply. Aft
 er evaluating the submitted applications\, eight applicants from each West
 ern Balkans economy will be selected. Accommodation and transport expenses
  will be covered by the organizers. Proficiency in English is required for
  applicants as the training will be conducted in English.\n\nThis event is
  committed to encourage gender balance in the application process to creat
