Recently, Albania has taken a key role in the Fourth Global Summit for the Prevention of Ransomware, organized by the White House. We are leading a project that aims to strengthen the regulation of virtual assets and stop the illicit flow of funds that support the ransomware industry.

The White House emphasizes: “This project improves the regulation of virtual assets and disrupts the payments ecosystem that powers this dangerous industry.”
With this initiative, Albania proves its commitment to international cooperation and strengthening global security.
