During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of information exchange between respective agencies, the protection of critical infrastructures — including the gas, oil, and the TAP pipeline sectors — as well as the development of capacities for securing OT/SCADA systems within the energy sector.

The parties expressed their readiness to continue dialogue and identify concrete avenues of collaboration aimed at strengthening digital security and safeguarding strategic infrastructures.

Gabriel Cremades Ventura.

Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in cybersecurity. Both parties highlighted the importance of sharing expertise and establishing institutional contacts between the two countries, expressing mutual interest in launching a joint initiative supported by European Union programs.

Following the meeting, it was agreed to organize technical-level meetings between AKSK experts and their Spanish counterparts to identify concrete areas of collaboration and define future steps toward implementing this initiative.

AKSK remains committed to strengthening international relations to enhance national cybersecurity capacities and ensure a more resilient digital environment against current threats.
